- provide accurate and complete information;
- provide a valid delivery address;
- use a valid payment method;
- comply with all applicable laws; and
- not use our websites for any fraudulent, unlawful or unauthorised purpose or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order where we reasonably believe these conditions have not been met or where doing so is necessary to protect our customers or our business.
5. Products
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that:
- product descriptions are accurate;
- prices are correct;
- ingredients are correctly listed;
- allergen information is clearly stated where required;
- product images are intended to fairly represent the products offered; and
- product availability is displayed as accurately as reasonably practicable.
However:
- colours may vary between screens;

Product images are provided for illustration only and should not be relied upon as an exact representation of the product received.
We reserve the right to limit the quantity of any product that may be purchased by any individual, household, business or order where we reasonably consider it necessary.
6. Pricing
All prices shown on our websites are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£) unless otherwise stated.
Prices include VAT where applicable unless clearly stated otherwise.
Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed during checkout before you place your order.
Although we take reasonable care to ensure that prices and product information are accurate, errors may occasionally occur.
If we discover that a product has been advertised at an incorrect price or contains an obvious pricing or typographical error, we may:
- contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price; or
- cancel your order and issue a full refund where payment has already been taken.
Prices may be changed at any time without notice. However, any price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted by us.
7. Orders
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase products from Made Uncommon Limited.
Receipt of an order confirmation email does not mean that your order has been accepted.
A contract between you and Made Uncommon Limited is formed only when we dispatch your order.
We reserve the right to refuse, limit or cancel any order, including where:
- products become unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- pricing or product information contains an error;
- we suspect fraudulent activity;
- we reasonably believe products are being purchased for unauthorised resale;
- we are unable to verify customer information;
- fulfilling the order would breach applicable law; or
- we reasonably consider it necessary for any other legitimate business reason.
Where payment has already been taken for an order that is subsequently cancelled, we will issue an appropriate refund using the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.
8. Payment
Payment must normally be made in full before goods are dispatched unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing.
We accept payment using the methods made available during checkout, which may include:
- Visa;
- Mastercard;
- American Express;
- Maestro;
- Apple Pay;
- Google Pay;
- Shop Pay;

Made Uncommon Limited does not store your full payment card details.
We reserve the right not to dispatch goods until payment has been successfully authorised and cleared.
Additional payment terms applicable to wholesale and trade customers are set out in our Payment Policy and any separate Trade Account Agreement.
9. Trade (B2B) Accounts
We may offer approved wholesale or trade accounts to eligible businesses.
Approval of a trade account is entirely at our discretion and does not oblige us to continue supplying products, offering credit facilities or maintaining any particular payment terms.
Trade customers may be offered:
- agreed payment terms;
- trade pricing;
- wholesale discounts;
- credit facilities;
- dedicated account management; and
- access to products or services not available to retail customers.
Trade customers are responsible for ensuring that all information supplied to us remains accurate, complete and up to date.
We reserve the right, at our reasonable discretion, to suspend, withdraw or amend any trade account, credit facility, payment terms, pricing or discounts where we consider it necessary to protect our legitimate business interests.
Separate trade terms, payment terms or supply agreements may apply to wholesale customers and, where applicable, shall take precedence over these Terms & Conditions to the extent of any inconsistency.
10. Delivery
Delivery information is set out in our separate Delivery & Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Estimated delivery dates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed by us in writing.
Delivery times may be affected by factors including:
- seasonal demand;
- courier delays;
- customs clearance;
- adverse weather conditions;
- industrial action;
- public holidays; or
- events beyond our reasonable control.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address specified in your order.
Ownership of the goods remains with Made Uncommon Limited until we have received payment in full for those goods, where applicable.
Where chocolate, candles or other temperature-sensitive products may be adversely affected by weather conditions or other circumstances during transit, we reserve the right to delay dispatch where we reasonably consider it necessary to help ensure products arrive in satisfactory condition. Where practicable, we will notify affected customers of any significant delay.
11. Ownership of Products
Ownership of the products will pass to you only when:
- the products have been delivered; and
- we have received payment in full for all sums due in respect of those products.
Where products are supplied on agreed credit terms to approved trade customers, ownership shall not pass until all outstanding amounts due in respect of those products have been paid in full.
Until ownership passes to you:
- you must not sell, transfer, pledge or otherwise dispose of the products except in the ordinary course of business where expressly agreed by us;
- you must take reasonable care of the products and keep them identifiable as our property where reasonably practicable; and
- we reserve the right, where permitted by law, to recover products for which payment remains outstanding.
12. Returns and Refunds
Our Returns & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Certain products, including goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, may be exempt from the statutory right to cancel under applicable consumer protection legislation.
Where applicable, returns, refunds and exchanges will be handled in accordance with our published Returns & Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions or our Returns & Refund Policy limits or excludes any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
13. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If you believe your order is:
- damaged;
- defective;
- incomplete;

please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable, and preferably within 7 days of delivery, by emailing hello@madeuncommon.co.
Where possible, please provide:
- your order number;
- a description of the issue; and
- photographs showing the damage or fault.
Where a product is found to be faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. This may include:
- replacing the product;
- issuing a full or partial refund;
- issuing store credit where agreed with you; or
- providing another appropriate remedy.
We may ask you to return the affected products, or provide reasonable evidence of the issue, before processing certain claims.
14. Product Information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, ingredients, nutritional information, allergen declarations and other product information published on our websites are accurate at the time of publication.
However:
- recipes may change;
- ingredients may change;
- product origin or sourcing information may change;
- packaging may change;
- artwork may vary;
- manufacturers may update specifications;
- product images are provided for illustration only and may differ from the product supplied; and
- information may occasionally contain typographical or other inadvertent errors.
Customers should always read the product packaging, including ingredient and allergen information, before consuming or using any product, as the packaging supplied with the product is the most up-to-date source of product information.
Product information published on our websites is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon as medical, dietary, nutritional or other professional advice.
15. Allergens
Many products sold by Made Uncommon contain, or are manufactured in facilities that handle, allergens.
Common allergens may include, but are not limited to:
- milk;
- tree nuts;

- sesame; and
- other allergens recognised under applicable food legislation.
Individual product packaging provides the most up-to-date ingredient and allergen information and should always be checked before consuming any product.
Customers with allergies, intolerances or other dietary requirements are responsible for reviewing the product packaging carefully before consumption.
If you require further ingredient or allergen information before placing an order, please contact us at hello@madeuncommon.co.

- promotions may be limited to selected products, brands or customers;
- minimum spend requirements may apply; and
- promotions may exclude delivery charges, gift cards or other specified products.
Where we reasonably believe a promotion has been misused, abused or applied in error, we reserve the right to:
- cancel or amend affected orders;
- withdraw discounts or promotional benefits;
- suspend or close customer accounts; or
- refuse future participation in promotions.
Our decision regarding the eligibility and application of any promotion shall be final, provided it is made reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
17. Gift Cards
Where gift cards are offered:
- gift cards may only be redeemed in accordance with the terms applicable to the relevant gift card;
- gift cards are non-refundable except where required by applicable law;
- gift cards cannot normally be exchanged for cash;
- gift cards may only be redeemed through participating Made Uncommon websites or other participating sales channels, as specified at the time of purchase;
- gift cards may be subject to expiry dates where permitted by applicable law;
- gift cards may not be used to purchase other gift cards unless expressly stated otherwise; and
- lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorised gift cards may not be replaced.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend gift cards where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or other unauthorised activity.
Additional terms and conditions may apply to specific gift card products and will be made available where applicable.
