Dream Chocolate and Cocktail Pairings

At Love Cocoa, chocolate and cocktails are two of our favourite things, and we believe that they can work perfectly beside one another. So, we've compiled a list of some perfect boozy pairings, perfect for indulgent nights in and home cocktail-making paired with lots of chocolate-eating. 

1. Maldon Sea Salt Dark Chocolate paired with a Lemongrass Collins

Tasting Notes: citrus, salt, vanilla

1 oz. Lemon-infused Vodka
3 oz. Vanilla Liqueur
1-2 tbsp Sugar Syrup
Soda water to taste
Garnish: Lemon slices

2. Avocado Dark Chocolate paired with a Spicy Watermelon Margarita

Tasting Notes: fruit, spice, citrus

2 oz. Watermelon Juice
1½ oz tequila
¾ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz fresh orange juice
1 thinly sliced jalapeno round
Garnish: Mini watermelon wedge

3. Lovingly Dipped Espresso Beans paired with a Cappuccino Martini

2 oz. Love Cocoa Salted Caramel Vodka
2 oz. Baileys
1 oz. Khalua

2 oz. Love Cocoa Prosecco

5. Honeycomb Milk Chocolate paired with a Tequila Honey Bee

2 oz. Tequila
1 oz. Honey
¾ oz. Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
